General FAQ

What is your turnaround time?

We do our best to fulfill and ship orders out within 5-7 business days, sometimes sooner. Please note that turnaround time may be longer during holidays, for custom signs, and can also depend on current production schedule.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Since all of our items are customized, we do not accept returns or exchanges and all sales are final. However if there is an issue with your order, please reach out to us directly via email at lori@1oakdesigns.net

Please note that since we do not have any control once the package is turned over to the shipping carrier, we do not offer refunds for delays due to shipping. If you need your order by a certain date, please email us first so we can let you know if that date is something we can accomodate.

 

Are you able to send me a proof before shipping out my product?

We do not send any finished proofs. We can provide a digitial design proof upon request.

Custom Items

Are you able to create a custom item or design?

Yes, please reach out to us and we would be happy to work with you on a custom item. Please note, there may be a design fee depending on the complexity of the item.

Are you able to engrave my logo?

Yes, we ask that all logos be sent in black and white and in either PNG or SVG format.

Wholesale Orders

 Can you do custom Wholesale Orders?

Yes, please reach out to us directly via email at lori@1oakdesigns.net for any custom orders.

Shipping

Do you ship Internationally?

We currently only ship within the United States. .

Do you offer local pick up?

We offer local pick up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Please select the local pick-up option at checkout. An email with the address and pick up instructions will be emailed to you when your order is ready.

Boards

Why is the engraving on my board lighter or darker than what is shown on your website?

Because our boards are made of all natural woods, the engraving will vary depending on the specific grains of that board. Each board will be unique and one of a kind.

Do you apply any finishes to your cutting/charcuterie boards?

Yes, we may apply a Finish Grade Mineral Cutting Board oil that is colorless, odorless and tasteless.

Can I place my cutting/charcuterie board in the dishwasher?

No, please only hand wash boards with warm water and a sponge using soap. Hand dry with a dish towel. Refrain from leaving the board soaking in a sink or dish pan.

Wood Cutout Products

I noticed an imperfection on my finished good. Why is that?

Each wood sheet is milled down from large pieces of lumber. Occasional imperfections such as knots, slight roughness, grain patterns, or difference in color is common with natural real wood.

Hats & Beanies

How do I care for the hats and beanies with the leatherette patch?

Please use a gentle detergent when washing using cold to warm water. Hand-wash (preferred) or wash on a delicate cycle. Do not put in the dryer, air dry only.

All patches are adhered using heat activated adhesive.

Are the patches made of real leather?

No, the patches are made of leatherette (faux leather).

Childrens Clothing & Blankets

How do I care for the childrens clothing with embroidery.

Please follow the garment instructions tag, which most will recommend it to be washed in cold and tumbled on low.
